The words to read

New Habits is a review of everything on your habit list at once. Each one gets sorted into five bands: Stop, Do Less, Keep, Start, Do More. Sorting them together rather than one at a time is deliberate. You see the whole load and have to decide what is worth carrying. What you stop or do less is archived out of your daily tracker and kept in your history. What you start becomes a fresh habit in Habit Tracker straight away. The format resembles the start, stop, continue retrospective software teams have used since the early 2000s, turned inward on your own behaviour. No single originator, and it does not need one. The structure works because it forces a decision on every item rather than letting things linger unexamined. The band people avoid is Stop. There will be something on your list you have been failing at for a year and feeling bad about it every time you see it. Stopping it properly is a decision. Failing at it by default is not. Over repeated takes, you get a Behavioural Change Index, tracking how your habits move between bands, so you can see the shape of the load changing. Do this quarterly. Ten minutes. Then leave the list alone until next time.
