The words to read

My Coaching Goals is the lightest goal tool here, and it's built for your first proper sitting on the platform. Four goals, that's it. For each one, why it matters to you, how you're gonna measure it, and a date. The why-it-matters field is doing more work than it looks. Goal-setting research, Locke and Latham, keeps finding the same thing. Commitment is what makes a hard goal useful. A difficult goal you are committed to beats an easy one. A difficult goal you are not committed to just gets abandoned. Writing down why it matters is how you test whether you are actually committed, or whether this is somebody else's goal you have borrowed. How you measure it matters for the same reason the vision statement matters in Goal Setting. If you cannot say how you would know it was done, you've not got a goal yet, you've got a wish. Each of the four becomes a goal on your dashboard, so nothing here sits in isolation. Your actions, habits, and weekly planning all hang off them afterwards. Four is deliberate. Set 12, and you'll work on none of them. Start here, then move to Goal Setting when you want to open one up in full.
